The holiday season is upon us and we are ready to celebrate with all of you at our new event, Christmas Spirits located at the hottest destination in Downtown Buffalo, 500 Pearl. This thirst-quenching tasting experience will be a fun-filled night for all- the beer lover, wine drinker and liquor sipper.
The most popular local breweries, wineries and distilleries will be in attendance offering our guests a sample of their products (20 vendors = 20 samplings – one from each vendor).
Two choices of ticket prices allow you to explore the local beer, wine and spirits in the Forbes Theater of 500 Pearl. You will experience breathtaking moments when you walk into the space from the resorted hand painted designs throughout the room to the gold chandeliers on the ceiling.
The general admission ticket cost $20 and includes:
- Samplings of the 20 participating vendors from 6PM-10PM
- Selfie with Santa contest; take a picture worthy selfie with Santa (make it funny or cute) and post on your Instagram to win a prize
- Receive an ornament gift when you enter the event which you will find matches the same design as the cookie decorating station in the w xyz bar and lounge sponsored by Fairy Cakes & Cupcakery
- Listen to great beats from our live DJ
- Lastly enjoy the “Build your own Hot Coco Bar” which includes topping such as marshmallows, sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, crushed peppermints, whipped cream and more. The best part of the coco bar is you can enjoy a shot of liquor in there to keep you extra warm (if you like).
For 15 extra dollars, purchase a VIP ticket for $35 which includes everything from the general admission ticket as well as:
- VIP stage access with
- Delicious passed hors d’oeuvres made by Chef Mike McGee
- Dessert Table provided by the unique Fairy Cakes & Cupcakery
- Water to keep you hydrated when sampling each different vendor
In addition to the ticketed event inside the Forbes Theater, just across the hallway in the w xyz bar and lounge we will have more activities going on that are open to the public. Live music from our Wednesday Live at Aloft series, happening every Wednesday in the wxyz bar & lounge. Cookie decorating sponsored by Fairy Cakes & Cupcakery- decorate a cookie for you to eat or if you are really feeling the Christmas spirit you can have your decorated cookie donated to Oishei’s Children Hospital for the kids to enjoy the next day. And lastly, start some holiday shopping with 12 vendors located in the Exchange room off the w xyz lounge. Buy for a family member, friend or yourself!
