On Thursday, October 10th, 500 Pearl is hosting Girls Education Collaborative for their 3-2-1 happy hour. We are excited to welcome this foundation to our building and celebrate a great cause at our two trendy and vibrant bars (w xyz bar & lounge and Patrick’s Rooftop) for three hours from 5:30pm until 8:30pm.
Girls Education Collaborative (GEC) helps give marginalized girls in developing countries the right to be in school and become the captains of their futures. An estimated 120 million girls are out of school world-wide because of culturally embedded gender inequality and/or the consequences of critical poverty. GEC is based in Buffalo, NY and helps collaborate place-based initiatives in underserved areas which makes an impact on these young girl’s life successes.
Throughout 500 Pearl and during the night, you will notice the sassy and savvy space of the w xyz bar and lounge featuring navy blue velvet booths, a pool table and a fully stocked bar. At the bar, you can choose between a bunch of wine and beer options as well as signature cocktails. After checking out the w xyz, travel up to the 12th floor to take in breathtaking views of Lake Erie and Downtown Buffalo while enjoying Patrick’s, Buffalo’s highest rooftop bar and patio. Take in the energetic atmosphere, chic design and unique handcrafted cocktails. For this great cause, we celebrate International Day of the Girl where we stand with women around the world as they inspire, innovate and take charge of their own destinies.
