3-2-1 Happy Hours feature 3 hours, 2 trendy bars for 1 great cause. 500 pearl is delighted to host Upward Design for Life Corporation on Thursday, October 4th from 5-8pm. In June of 2017, Dionne Williamson, President and Founder of Upward Design for Life Corporation, began serving those in need, one home at time.
They develop and grow community partnerships that help restore dignity, hope and independence to particular individuals or families. Upward Design for Life (UDFL) does not just provide a sofa, table or bed- they completely furnish entire residences including providing cookware, dishes, utensils, small kitchen appliances, linen, window treatments, home décor items and more. UDFL has acquired 13 partner organizations such as Child & Family Services, Haven House, Buffalo City Mission and Best Self who pass along referrals, for individuals transitioning from shelters. Since, January 2018, 25 families have been served so far.
